    Assistant Principal of Athletics and Academics - Orange High School

     

    Mr. Anthony Frantantoni, aka Mr. Frantan, has been a Health and Physical Education teacher at Orange High School since 2006. Mr. Frantantoni was a wrestling coach for Belleville High School from 2002 to 2007. He began coaching at OHS in 2007 as the Assistant Wrestling Coach. In 2009, he took over as Head Coach and remained in that position until 2013. Mr. Frantantoni is also a volunteer youth football and wrestling coach.

    Mr. Frantantoni earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sport Studies from Rutgers University and went on to earn a Masters in Health and Human Performance from Fort Hays State University. After being hired at OHS, he completed his Masters in Educational Leadership from St. Peter's College, which gave him the opportunity to hold his principal certificate within the state of New Jersey.

    Mr. Frantantoni is a Certified Personal Trainer by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), a USA Weightlifting Olympic Lifting Club Coach, and became a Certified Athletic Administrator in March 2023. Outside of Orange High School, Mr. Frantantoni enjoys time with his family, cooking, reading, and many fitness/athletic activities like weight training, running 5K-10K races, hiking, eating doughnuts, Spartan/OCR races, pickleball, paddleboarding, and Brazlian Jiu-Jitsu.
