    Welcome to the Extended Learning Resource Page.  This page was created to provide students working from home with access to assignments, links, assessments, and practice resources. Additional information and daily updates can be found on the district’s COVID-19 Resource Page found at https://www.orange.k12.nj.us/domain/3058.


    Phase 1 Sept 8th-October 5th 

    • Students and teachers are on a half day scheduled for synchronous instruction from 8:30 am-12:30 pm each day. The afternoon hours have been designated Office Hours and Professional Development for Staff and a Do Day Time (asynchronous instruction) for students. Students will follow an A Day/B Day Rotating Model.


    A Day: Period 1: 8:30-9:15 am

                Period 3: 9:30-10:15 am

                Period 5: 10:30-11:15 am

                Period 7: 11:30 am-12:15 pm


    B Day: Period 2: 8:30-9:15 am

                Period 4:  9:30-10:15 am

                Period 6: 10:30-11:15am

                Period 8: 11:30 am-12:15 pm


    Everyday: 1:15-3:15 pm Office Hours for Teachers and Do Day Time for Students

    All Students Read the Following Before the joining their first class

    For the 2020-2021 school year, we will be starting in full-virtual mode.

    Full-virtual mode means that you must attend LIVE Google Meets during your scheduled class time.

    Failure to appear at a scheduled Google Meet means that you are absent from class. Each absence will be followed by a parent contact.

    Please review Google Classroom for all assignments. All assignments MUST be completed by the deadline given. If you cannot complete your work by the deadline, please let me know before the assignment is due. 

    All assignments will follow the same scoring guidelines as seen on my Global Studies syllablus.

    Those will include classworks, homeworks, quizzes, tests, and authentic assessments.

    All students are expected to answer daily Do Now questions and complete daily assignments before the posted deadline.


    My virtual Office Hours are as follows:

    Monday-Friday 1:15 pm - 3:15 pm


    Effective October 26th the following tutoring sessions will be available: 



    2nd and 4th Periods = Tuesdays 1:15 pm - 2:00 pm

    5th and 6th Periods = Thursdays 1:15 pm - 2:00 pm

    7th Period = Fridays 1:15 pm - 2:00 pm

    Student responsibilities in completing the assignments include:

    • Identifying a comfortable and quiet space to study/learn
    • Dedicating appropriate time to learning, as guided by your teachers
    • Routinely checking appropriate Google Classrooms and emails for information on courses,
      assignments, and resources, on a daily basis
    • Attending and participating in any check-in times offered by your teachers
    • Engaging in the virtual platforms with academic honesty, integrity, and according to the district’s Acceptable Use Policy
    • Submitting all assignments in accordance with provided timelines and/or due dates
