• Greetings Orange High School Community,

I am Dairon Montesino, and it is an honor and a pleasure to serve as the Assistant Principal at Orange High School and as the dedicated leader of House 9, overseeing the incredible freshmen class of 2027 as well as overseeing the science and math departments. Allow me to share a bit about my background and my commitment to education.

    Roots and Education:

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Paterson, NJ, I carry the spirit of my hometown with me in all aspects of life. My educational journey began at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, where I pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. This foundation in the field of mathematics ignited my passion for education. It led me to further my studies at Montclair State University, where I earned a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership.

    A Decade in Education:

With pride, I am entering my 11th year in education. Most of this time has been spent at Montclair High School, where I've had the privilege of contributing to students' academic and personal growth. The experiences and insights gained during these ten years have shaped my approach to education and my commitment to fostering a positive and enriching learning environment.

    Role as Assistant Principal:

As the Assistant Principal of Orange High School, my role extends beyond the confines of the school walls. I am dedicated to collaborating with community stakeholders to create a comprehensive and supportive educational experience. We can enhance the overall learning environment by fostering strong connections with parents, local businesses, and community leaders, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities.

    The leadership of House 9:

In addition to my role as Assistant Principal, I have the privilege of leading House 9. This entails guiding the freshmen class, the Class of 2027, through their crucial first year of high school. I focus on creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

    Collaboration with Community Stakeholders:

The success of our students is intricately linked to the strength of our community ties. By collaborating with parents, local businesses, and community organizations, we can create a holistic support system that nurtures the growth and development of each student. Open communication and stakeholder engagement are critical components of my approach to ensuring the success of our students.

I am thrilled to be a part of the Orange High School community. I look forward to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to make this academic year one of our students' growth, achievement, and lasting memories.

    Sincerely,
