Ms. Shana Falda has always been interested in art and always knew she would pursue a career that would involve the arts in some way. What better way than to share her love and passion for art with budding young artists! Ms. Falda has a B.A. in Studio Art from CUNY Brooklyn College, an M.A. in Secondary Art Education from CUNY Brooklyn College, and an M.S. in School Leadership from Capella University. She completed her student teaching at Fashion Industries High School in NYC. She went on to teach for seven years at Sheepshead Bay High School in Brooklyn, NY until she moved to New Jersey. She has been teaching at Orange High School since 2007. She currently teaches Painting 1 and Painting 2. On the side, Ms. Falda is also a professional artist who paints and draws on commission. She also has her own jewelry design company called Shana Pearl Jewelry. Her hobbies (besides art) are cooking, dancing, Zumba, gardening, and reading.
