    Orange High School offers a variety of opportunities for instrumental musicians. The most popular ensemble is the Marching Band, which performs a variety of modern pop and hip hop songs, as well as a selection of traditional marching band music from the Southern style marching band tradition. Marching band is also open to aspiring members of the Flag Line and Dance Line. The band performs at football games in the fall, parades in the spring and occasional community events in between. The other primary ensemble is the Concert Band, which focuses on performing classical and popular music in a concert setting. This is the ensemble for the musician who truly wants to learn more and improve his/her musical skills. The concert band performs a winter concert and a spring concert. The newest ensemble added to Orange High School is the Jazz Band, which welcomes experienced woodwinds, brass, percussion (drum set), bass and piano players to expand their skills by playing jazz and exploring improvisation and the art of collaborating as a band. The jazz band also performs at the winter and spring concerts.
