    The Orange Page Turners Challenge officially begins TODAY, October 1!
     
    To participate, students log the number of pages read in order to claim the title of "Most Well-Read". All readers at PAS will earn prizes each month.

  • PAS ORANGE PAGE TURNERS CHALLENGE 2023-24

    PAS OPTC names

    FANTASTIC Park Avenue School! We read and logged a total of 48,934 pages for the Orange Page Turners Challenge this school year!!


    Top readers will be awarded with certificates and a grab bag of prizes, including a book vending machine coin.

  • APRIL BOOK FIESTA with JUST RIGHT READERS

    Book Fiesta El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30 (ALSC).  

     

    Just Right Readers

    Students "participated in a book party, where they were able to receive a set of decodable readersas a take-home pack to practice the phonemic awareness skills they are working on at school" (Stokes).
