Distance Learning will not be in effect from April 10 through April 17. We will continue to update all families and staff in a timely fashion.

Teacher will post assignments on teacher's website AND Class Dojo. There will be one assignment for each subject per day. Students are expected to complete the given assignment by the end of each day.  Parents are expected to take a picture of the completed work and send in a PRIVATE MESSAGE to the teacher on Class Dojo to be assessed by the teacher OR post in the child's portfolio under the activity.

Day 7 (March 25 due): Write and draw about why Gilberto thinks the wind likes soap bubbles.

    Day 8 (March 26 & 27):

CULMINATING TASK (students will have two days to complete it, due 27th)

Think about the experiences Gilberto had with Wind. Choose one example of Wind being gentle and one example of Wind being strong. Draw and write about each example by completing the sentence “Wind is gentle when ___.” “Wind is strong when ___.”
Sample answer: Wind is gentle when it floats balloons in the air. Wind is strong when it bangs gates shut.
(Students’ drawings should clearly match the writing. If students struggle with writing be sure to take dictation so you know whether they are at least able to recall examples of strong and gentle wind. Parents encourage your child to sound out their words, use punctuation, and spaces.
