Dear Parents,

Welcome to an exciting new school year at Rosa Parks Community School! My name is Mr. Samaan, and I have the privilege of being your child’s English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher. I look forward to fostering an environment that is conducive to the advancement of our students’ English language skills. Our focus will be on enhancing the four domains of the language: speaking, reading, writing, and listening. These skills are crucial for academic success and will be our priority throughout the year. In addition to our regular classroom activities, I will conduct small group instruction sessions for 45 minutes daily in ELA (English Language Arts) and/or Math. These sessions are designed to provide targeted English language support and to reinforce skills in these content areas, ensuring that every student can thrive. Your involvement and support are invaluable to your child’s success, and I am excited to collaborate with you. Together, we will make this a productive and successful school year for your child.
