Orange Adult School The Spring 2018 semester of the Orange Adult School will begin on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Humanitarian Relief for Victims of Hurricane Maria
Interim Superintendent of Schools Ronald C. Lee has announced that each Monday in October will be a dress down day fundraiser for Hurricane Maria relief efforts. He is asking students and staff, on a voluntary basis, to donate at least $1 for students and $5 for staff on each dress down Monday. Mr. Lee also thanked all those who helped the district raise over $3,600 for Hurricanes Harvey and Irma relief efforts and stated that he is hoping that we can join together and raise $20,000 for this worthy humanitarian cause.

Special Election - March 15, 2017 Update
The residents of Orange voted in the November 2016 election that the Board of Education( BOE) members would be elected by the citizens of Orange, and not appointed by the Mayor. Currently there are seven BOE members, however, an elected Board requires nine members by State Statute.
The March 14 Special Election, to elect two additional members for the City of Orange Board of Education, has been rescheduled for March 28, 2017. All timing, polling places, voting district assignments and other logistical items are identical to those scheduled for March 14.
