Vaccines are now available for children ages 6 months to 5 years at the Sears Building, Livingston Mall, a new Essex County vaccine and test location. Appointments are required.

NJROTC Change in Command Ceremony
A Change of Command ceremony was held on June 8 at Bell Stadium to recognize the change in leadership for the Orange High School Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC). The event included Unit promotions, end-of-year awards, special recognition, and citations.

Preschool Registration for the 2022-2023 School Year Scheduled for July
In-Person and Virtual Preschool Registration for the 2022-2023 school year will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, July 5-7, and July 12-14, 2022, from 9 AM - 1 PM, at the Orange Early Childhood Center, 397 Park Avenue. Online registration is available via the preschool registration portal during those times.

Important Message from the Superintendent of Schools - June 6, 2022
I write this letter to you today to alert you that the New Jersey Department of Education, in response to the recent school shooting in Uvalde, Texas gave the option to allow schools to go into virtual instruction mode should that location serve as a polling site. Six district locations will have virtual instruction/work on June 7, 2022.

Summer School Programs 2022 Districtwide
The Orange Public Schools will be offering a variety of summer programming options in Summer 2022 that serve the purpose of remediation, enrichment, credit recovery, and extended learning opportunities for our students. Programs begin in July in in-person learning formats. Registration closes on May 31, 2022.

Announcing Facilities Use Request via Facilitron
Orange Public Schools is pleased to announce a new online facility request and rental system designed to provide a positive user experience for all. With the new system provided by Facilitron, reservation requests can be submitted easily and handled more efficiently. Renters will be able to access photos and descriptions, see real-time availability, get estimated quotes, and pay online.
