District Parent Council Meeting Recap!

Good Afternoon Orange Public Schools Families,
Thank you to all parents who attended our District Parent Council meeting on Tuesday, January 20th! Below is a summary of important information shared:
Financial Literacy Program for Students: Ms. Maritza Brown shared exciting news about the Early Practical Financial Discipline Award Program now hosted at Orange High School. This program teaches essential money management skills to students across grade levels and offers opportunities for students to earn money toward college. Interested individuals can contact (973) 370-3440. Space is limited. There are two spaces available in the Elementary Cohort, (grades 3 &4) and two in the Middle School Cohort (grades 7 & 8). Job Readiness Support for Parents: The National Council of Jewish Women offers FREE services for women including resume writing, interview preparation, and computer classes through their Center for Women program. Visit: https://ncjwessex.org/center-for-women/
Social-Emotional Support: Our district continues to provide resources for student wellness, including support for bullying prevention and healthy coping strategies. For questions about available services, contact your school's counseling office.
