    Dear Families of Oakwood Avenue School,  

    I am delighted to be a support to your children, and look forward to providing intervention support to those students that are in need. We will have an amazing year of growth and development here at Oakwood Avenue School! I have high expectations for your children and what they can achieve. I will do all that I can to help your child reach their fullest potential.  You can be a partner as we work collaboratively to guide them toward success!  I will be expecting students to complete fluency passages at home. You can help with this by offering to be a listener as they read or assigning an adult to listen to them at home. The adult will then sign off that the student has read these passages and ensure any comprehension questions are answered. These will be expected in the next day.   I will also be communicating with you and your child in Class Dojo or Google Classroom, depending on the grade level of your child.  

    One of my goals is to keep lines of communication open with you regarding their progress, so please feel free to contact me regarding any questions or concerns relating to their literacy needs.
