The 2024-2025 5th Grade Stock Market Game is Now LIVE
Our district’s 5th Grade Social Studies classes are diving into the world of investing with the 2024-25 Stock Market Game! Across the district, 65 teams have formed their own "investment companies" by crafting creative company names and logos.
After researching stocks on the NYSE and NASDAQ, each team began the game with a virtual $100,000 to invest. Throughout the school year, students will analyze and adjust their investments during each marking period to enhance their performance.
Each school's building winners will receive prizes, and district winners will be awarded trophies! Last year’s top team turned $100,000 into over $175,000, with Park Avenue School leading as last year's champion with an impressive average team growth of nearly $30,000. This year, they’re back to defend their title!
Visit our Leaderboard to track current standings, see the most popular stocks and top performers, compare each building’s progress, and explore unique stock choices from “Lone Rangers” (companies only one team has invested in across the district).
Good luck to all our teams—let’s watch those investments grow!
