ORANGE, NJ — The Rosa Parks Community School Spring Showcase was a celebration of artistic talent, rounding out the school year with a spectacular event. Attended by Superintendent Dr. Gerald Fitzhugh, II, and Orange Council President Tency A. Eason, the showcase took place in the gymnasium and was hosted by Miss Skylar Hayden, with musical accompaniment from Miss Julianna Rodriguez, also known as "DJ Julz."
Principal Dr. Debra Joseph-Charles kicked off the event with a warm introduction, setting the stage for a medley of exciting performances by the students. The audience, filled with families and community members, enjoyed a diverse array of artistic pieces.
Special thanks to the Visual and Performing Arts Faculty for their dedication and hard work: Ronald Caris (Vocal Music), Sem Etienne (Instrumental Music), Dave Lockhart (Strings), Jacqueline Selesky (Dance), Agnieszka Wszolkowski (Visual Art), and Jonathan Clerie, the district's supervisor of Visual and Performing Arts.
