Students Achieve Degrees Through Early College Program

As always, Orange students shine, highlighting how the district is committed to student success.
Ten Orange High School students celebrated earning earning their associate degrees at Essex County College's commencement ceremony at Prudential Center. 

ORANGE, NJ — On Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, ten seniors from Orange High School earned an Associate of Arts degree through the Essex County Early College Scholar program. They are the second cohort of Orange High School students who have successfully completed their degree program while also earning their high school diploma.

Superintendent Dr. Gerald Fitzhugh II, Executive Director Ms. Faith Alcantara, Orange High School Principal Jason Belton, Supervisor of Guidance, Felecia Ware, and ECC Academic Success Coach/OHS Guidance Counselor, Maureen Stainfil were in attendance to celebrate this achievement with our scholars.
