Three Orange Staff Members Receive Their Doctoral Degrees

Dr. Dion Patterson, Principal of Heywood Avenue School, successfully defended his dissertation study:  Advanced Placement Courses & Black Male Student Success:  Perceptions of Educators, earning his Doctorate in Education from Drexel University.
 
Dr. Suzanne Maxwell, 2nd grade teacher at Central Elementary School, successfully defended her dissertation study providing recommendations to solve the problem of low scores in Mathematics on the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment for fourth-grade students in Orange, earning her Doctorate in Education from Liberty University in Curriculum and Instruction - Special Education, graduating with high distinction. 
 
Dr. Dennis Peterson, 8th Grade Science Teacher at Orange Preparatory Academy of Inquiry & Innovation, successfully defended his dissertation, Social Emotional Learning Preparation for Pre-Service Teachers, earning his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Caldwell University.
