An Invitation to Attend the Strategic Planning Roundtable Sessions Beginning on January 30, 2020
A message to staff and the Orange community from Gerald Fitzhugh, II, E.D., Superintendent of Schools:
I am excited to announce the upcoming Strategic Plan Roundtable Work Sessions. These work sessions will take place in anticipation of launching the next Strategic Plan for the Orange Township Public Schools. January 30th, February 13th, and February 27th are the dates for these intense planning sessions. All sessions will begin at 5:30 PM at Lincoln Avenue School. Please mark these dates on your calendar.
As you know, strategic planning is the process of setting goals, deciding on actions to achieve those goals, and mobilizing the resources needed to take those actions. A strategic plan describes how goals will be achieved through the use of available resources. A strategic plan formalizes the school district’s mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives. This enables stakeholders to voice and agree on priorities as well as focus on the same path to improvement.
Your voices are critical to the creation of this plan. Please join me in attending these work sessions. I look forward to seeing you in attendance.
