     Welcome parents, staff, students, and administration to my web page. I am extremely excited to serve the Orange Community. It is an unparalleled pleasure to be a part of something significantly meaningful and rewarding. Serving the children and families at Cleveland Street School is one of my proudest endeavors. I am blessed and honored to be a part of a special team and community. Cleveland is family.
     
    Requirements: All learners are expected to have tremendous fun learning math and science while thinking critically, solving problems in collaborative groups, and independently. Students will be accountable for actively listening and critiquing or adding onto the explanations of other students. All students are responsible for explaining their thinking.  Adhering to the classroom, and school policies are pivotal to students' learning.   
     
    Science: Students are expected to use their personal experience to make connections, building or designing infustructures while making discoveries in the process of conducting stem related projects. Students will spend ample time making investigations and conducting STEAM or STEM experiments on Sun, Moon, and Earth,  Investigating various properties of Water, and Matter and Energy from the Science Foss Kit. All the materials and instruction will be aligned to the NGSS. All students are responsible for turning in a science project the last 
     
    Math: All students are frequently encouraged and carefully guided to demonstrate the Standard for Mathematical Practices daily.  Students are given homework on a daily basis to complete independently. Tests, Quizzes, Projects, labs, homework, classwork, and class participation are factored into the grading process.
