Welcome to YOUR library!
I am your Library Media Specialist and I am here to help you grow and succeed.
Library Hours: 7:45 am - 3:20 pm
During the instructional periods you need to get a pass from the teacher who is sending you to the library. You are allowed to use the media center during your lunchtime, provided you have a valid pass from the lunchroom monitor.
The library is a place for all students and teachers in this school. it is so important that every one of us follows the rules, so that the library can be a place people can work and study.
You MAY NOT stay if you break the following Library rules:
- Show your pass, sign in at the desk and follow instructions.
- No food or drink is allowed at all!
- Be quiet and respectful of others. If you must talk, keep your voice low.
- Computer users: Sign-in on the computer log sheet.

Remember that children choose books for a variety of reasons, not just to improve their reading. They may want to just skim a nonfiction book looking at the pictures and gathering some interesting facts or they may want to revisit an old friend. Of course students should be (and are) encouraged to sometimes pick a more challenging book, but some books are just for their own enjoyment. Please remember too that reading with your children no matter whether they can read independently or not is a worthwhile experience for your entire family and is one way to introduce more challenging material. Please do it often.
