    Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians:

Welcome to the fourth grade! I am Ms. Miguel, this school year marks my 21st year as an educator. I taught in Maryland for 1 year, Atlantic City for 3 years, and this is my 17th year in Orange. I am a graduate of Temple University, and am slowly completing my Masters at Rowan University. I am very excited to start the 2019-2020 school year! You will have two teachers this year, I will be teaching Math and Science. Fourth grade is a very important year. You will again be preparing for the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA).

The work will become more challenging as the year progresses. This year is going to be a successful and rewarding one for all of us. I look forward to challenging and inspiring you to become life-long learners, mathematicians, scientist, writers, and readers. We will navigate the triumphs and roadblocks together, as a team. I am here to demand a lot from you, but I am also here to ensure your success. With your hard work and effort, my guidance, and the support of your family, I know you will. You got this!

I look forward to working with you. Please check my website frequently for classroom news and homework. I look forward to a wonderful year!

    Educationally Yours,

    Ms. Miguel
