Hello dear families, "Hola queridas Familias":
My name is Ximena Kozierowski, and I am excited to be your child’s World language teacher at the Forest Street Community School. I graduated with honors from Kean University and obtained a Bachelor's in Spanish. I also took courses in Early Childhood Education. My career as an educator started in 2014, and I can say that it was the best decision ever. I loved having to be in the class, watching the children walking around the halls and have experiences that only school can provide having my life.
I am married and have three wonderful kids and, as a parent, I recognize the importance of education. As a mother, I understand my children’s needs, abilities, and weaknesses. I celebrate their journey and I have cheered every goal. As your children’s teacher, I will celebrate their goals as well. I would like to share with you a quote from Albert Einstein, “I never teach my pupils; I only provide the conditions in which they can learn”. My job as your children’s teacher is to provide them with materials that will make them feel comfortable speaking Spanish. I will work closely with each child and offer the necessary support that they require to succeed academically, socially, and cognitively.
Please feel free to contact me by email, dojo and remind. I will be happy to respond as soon as possible.
