Dear Parents,

                     My name is Mrs. Murray and I will be your child’s 2nd grade math and science teachers this year. It is a pleasure to have your child in my class. This is the year for your young learners to shine in my classroom as I take them through an exciting journey of 2^nd grade math and science. I am looking forward to partnering with you and together making a difference in your child’s learning experience this year. My primary role is to support every aspect of your child’s learning and make sure that they are successful.

                 Open communication with parents and guardians is truly valued, and so I hope that we openly communicate throughout the course of the year, as this is key to promoting an educational climate that is conductive to learning. I am looking forward to building a relationship with you and your child and thus providing your child with the best education he/she deserves.
