Important Information About ClassDojo Communication

Dear Parents,

I wanted to take a moment to provide some important information about our communication channels and expectations regarding ClassDojo.

Please be aware that our class uses the Dojo app for various school-related posts and updates. While Dojo can be a useful tool, it's important to note that some posts may be scheduled, and I might have my notifications silenced during weekends and quiet hours, which are from 4 PM to 8:20 AM and Saturday thru Sunday. If you send a message during these quiet hours, it may take up to 24 hours for me to respond or the next school day. This is also true of posts on Google Classroom and email communications.

During instructional time, from 8:20 AM to 3:10 PM, messages may also be on a scheduled or automated post, and it could take some time for me to respond directly. I appreciate your understanding and patience as I strive to balance my teaching responsibilities and communication with families. I cherish the time I spend with your children and their academic and social-emotional wellness.
