Dear Families,

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Mr. Jayvee Ramos Dacasin (he/him). I am excited to announce that I will be your student’s kindergarten teacher. This is my first year working as a Kindergarten Teacher at Forest Street Community School. I graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education. 

I believe in every child’s ability to grow and learn in a safe and open environment. I believe in meeting where the child is and allowing them to explore and prosper academically and socially. Through open communication between teachers, students, and parents/guardians, I believe that we can have a memorable school year! I am very excited learn more about each student in the classroom as well as their families. I am eager to work alongside you and your child this school year!
