Dear Families,

Welcome to Kindergarten! I am excited to introduce myself as your child's teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. My name is Mr. Jayvee Ramos Dacasin (or Mr. D for short), and I am privileged and excited to be a part of your child's educational journey. I have worked for the Orange Public School District for three years at Forest Street Community School. I graduated from Seton Hall University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education.

I believe that Kindergarten is a crucial time in a child's development, and I am committed to creating a warm, supportive, and engaging classroom environment where each unique child can thrive. Throughout the year, we will embark on a journey of learning, discovery, and growth. I believe that every child can learn. Every student has a unique way of learning and it is my goal to provide them with the tools and resources to help them grow and take responsibility for their education. My mission is to provide the best education they can receive so that they can become outstanding individuals in their communities.

Communication is key, and I encourage an open line of dialogue between us. I look forward to getting to know both you and your child better as we work together to create a successful and enjoyable school year.
