Mrs. Bitengo Kiage
Welcome to Kindergarten!!! I hope that you, your child and family had an amazing summer together! Welcome to the 2022-2023 school Year. My name is Bitengo Kiage and, together with Mrs. Primawattie Springer, our inclusion teacher, will be co-teaching as your child’s Kindergarten teachers' for the 2022/2023 school year. This is my 10th year teaching in Kindergarten and I am excited about making new friends and all the new learning experiences ahead of us. I studied at both Grand Canyon University, Arizona and Montclair State University, where I completed my Master’s in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
I am a firm believer that every student has their own individual way of learning and we must embrace that. I believe that it is necessary to build a strong and solid foundation for lifelong learning by nurturing, guiding, and motivating students to reach their full potential. It is my goal to provide a flexible, innovative, and resourceful approach to the teaching and learning process, meeting the unique needs of each individual student. You can rest assured that your child will receive the very best instruction and support that will help him/her grow to their full potential.
Home/ School Communication:
Through experience, both as a teacher and parent, I have realized the impact that educators can have on the lives of their students. In order to maximize the learning experience, we must work together. It is my hope that we will all collaborate and communicate so as to ensure our children have everything they need to succeed as we begin our virtual learning experience this school year.
I look forward to this exciting, productive year ahead. Please rest assured that we will provide exceptional learning experiences for our children. We are a team, and I am counting on you to make our children’s kindergarten experience exceptional.
Homework will be assigned daily. Each student will be provided with their log-in information.
