     My Name is Ms. Kenya  Dubar. I am a graduate of Kean University. I have a background in child and adolescent psychology. For many years, I served as a counselor for individuals with mental health challenges and substance-abuse addictions. In 2018, I transitioned to education and have found this to be a very rewarding and wholesome experience.

    In 2024, I received my certificate to teach students from grades K-6.    As of September 2024, I will serve as a 1st grade teacher. It is a pleasure and an honor to serve the 1st grade students in my first year as a certified teacher. Many of the students at Lincoln Avenue may remember me from previous years when I served as a building-based substitute for the school. During that time, I filled in for the Music Teacher, and we had a wonderful time together!!

     I am so excited about the year that lies ahead, and I look forward to serving your scholars !!
