    Heywood Avenue School is committed to developing and preparing students to become college and career ready in the 21st Century through a rigorous academic program designed with thematic units of study and curriculum mapping.   

     

    We commit to providing a safe and caring environment where each student is expected to grow and succeed.  We pledge to prepare all students with equitable opportunities for college and career readiness, as well as, STEAM readiness in a competitive global community". 

     

    We will advocate and collaborate as active partners with each other, students, parents and the community to be directly involved with the educational process.  These partnerships will produce students who are responsible citizens and life long learners.
