Hi, my name is Mrs. Nadbielny and I am happy to continue as the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)  teacher at Scholars Academy, now in my fourth year.  I am excited to see so many familiar faces and welcome our new students to Scholars.  You may hear your child refer to it as STEAM as we are adding the “A” for Art.

I am currently working towards my Gifted Education Certification through Rutgers University.  I have a Masters degree in Education from Seton Hall University with a concentration in Instructional Design and Technology.  I have a Bachelor's degree from New York University with a double major in Computer Science and Math.  I worked as a computer programmer on Wall Street for eleven years before taking off some time to raise my son and daughter who are now both in college.

We have a rigorous program to cover this year and have been off to a great start as students collaborated while designing and building their own wind turbines while learning about wind energy and the design engineering process.  Soon we will start building programmable robots and code, which I am very passionate about.  It is my goal to teach students how to think critically and how to solve problems, skills that can be used throughout life.  I look forward to working with your children this year!
