Once again students from grades 1st to 8th participated in the Hour of Code in the STEM lab at Scholars Academy.  During Computer Science Education Week, December 7-13th students around the world will try programming for at least an hour.  Every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science.  It helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity.  By starting early, students will have a foundation for success in any 21st century career path.  Students programmed Star Wars: Building a Galaxy with Code.  They learned to program droids, and create their own Star Wars game.
