    In class we will be discussing solar energy and cooking with a solar oven.  In class we have a solar oven by Sun Oven which we will take outside and use.

    What can you cook in a solar oven?
     
    How much fossil fuel energy can be saved by cooking food by solar power?
     
    Does the color of cookware affect the performance of the solar cooker?

    In class we have been learning about various types of bridges and building bridges with K'nex and Zometools.
     
    Find a video of the Narrows Bridge in Tacoma, Washington online. 
     
    Why did it collapse?  How are bridges designed differently today to avoid the same problem?
