Districtwide Efforts to Improve Access
- Developoment of the ESL/Bilingual Strategic Plan that aligns to the NJDOE Multilingual Learner 3-year Plan
- Provide Sheltered English training to ESL-supported General Education teachers
- Continue with Bilingual Parent Advisory Councils
- Ensure access to curriculum in all Bilingual classrooms
- Facilitate common planning time for all Bilingual/ESL/General Education teachers in school-based CPTs or districtwide Professional Development sessions
- Monitor the participation of all MLL students in advanced courses
- Improve monitoring protocols in 100% of the Bilingual classrooms by way of administrative and peer walkthroughs
- Monitor and report MLL and former MLL participation and performance on the following assessments/measures

- Diagnostic in ELA & Mathematics
- Attendance
