Announcing the Orange Public Schools Chess Club
The Orange Public Schools is pleased to announce the introduction of the Orange Public Schools Chess Club for students in grades 3 - 12. This initiative is in partnership with The Newark Chess Club.
Chess has proven benefits for younger students, adolescents, and teens. Playing Chess...

We invite students to join a Chess Club at one of our ten sites.
- Cleveland Street School (Thursdays & Fridays, 3:10 PM - 4:10 PM) with Coach Ingram
- Heywood Avenue School (Wednesdays, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM) with Coach Molano
- Lincoln Avenue School (Fridays, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM) with Coach Keskin
- Oakwood Avenue School (Fridays, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM) with Coach Meredith
- Orange Preparatory Academy of Inquiry & Innovation (Wednesdays, 3:00PM - 5:00PM) with Coach Carbone
- Park Avenue School (Mondays, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM) with Coach Williams
- Rosa Parks Community School (Fridays, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM) with Coach Bell
- STEM Innovation Academy (Tuesdays, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM) with Coach Johnson
- Twilight Program (Wednesdays, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM) with Coach Johnson
- Orange High School (Tuesdays, 3pm - 5pm) with Coach Bell
And students will receive materials for their participation!
