This summer, students in current grades 3 – 12 will have the opportunity to engage in a virtual Mathematics and Science experience designed to give students additional review and practice of important concepts during the summer months. Under normal circumstances, we would have sent Mathematics and Science packets home with students. This summer, students across the district in grades 3 – 12 will interact with “virtual packets,” which provide rich tasks in both content areas and live instruction and support. Beginning the week of July 13th through the end of August, students will receive Mathematics and Science assignments virtually and weekly. These assignments are mandatory and will be considered for grading in Marking Period 1 upon our return in the new school year. For students formally enrolled in one of the district’s summer school programs (District or school level), participation in this experience is optional.
