Orange Education Association Hot Meal Distribution

Orange Education Association The Orange Education Association (OEA) PRIDE Chair, under the advisement of the New Jersey Education Association, wrote a COVID-19 project to give back to the community during these trying times.  OEA president Ms. Lisa Catanzarite, and her executive team, PRIDE Chairwoman Ms. Antoinett Hall, Ms. Christal White, Ms. Renee Willis, Ms. Terry Everett, Mr. Bill Nussbaum, Mr. Larry Willis, Mr. Sidney Flourney, and Ms. Marpessa Bell came together for the betterment of the community. On June 6, they distributed hot meals at Rosa Parks Community School. The Superintendent of Schools Dr. Gerald Fitzhugh, II, stopped by participating in the program and is proud of the Orange Education Association. Since the COVID-19 hit, the Orange Education Association has been active in doing their part in the community. Ms. Antoinett A. Hall has written several other grants totaling over $15,000. According to the union, the premise was to service essential workers and help small businesses in the community offset some of their losses due to the pandemic.
