This school year I am teaching Computer Literacy to children in grades K, 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th. We will be using Dell computers and learning about various programs in Microsoft Office. We will use the Internet for educational purposes. In addition, the district has purchased a program called learning.com which provides engaging educational videos that will reinforce Computer Literacy knowledge and keyboarding skills.
All students should practice keyboarding at home during the week. Students in grades 3-7 have an account for the program typing.com which will keep track of their keyboarding. Other free web sites:

Younger students can use abyca.com
