Dear Parents and Students, Welcome to the Extended Learning Resource Page. This page was created to provide students working from home with access to assignments, links, assessments, and practice resources. Schools will be completely virtual from September 8 – November 25. General Student Expectations
Student responsibilities include:
Identifying a comfortable and quiet space to study/learn
Dedicating appropriate time to learning, as guided by your teachers
Routinely checking appropriate Google Classrooms and emails for information on courses, assignments, and resources, on a daily basis
Attending and participating in any check-in times offered by your teachers
Engaging in the virtual platforms with academic honesty, integrity, and according to the district’s Acceptable Use Policy
Submitting all assignments in accordance with provided timelines and/or due date

In Grades K-7 I will be using Class DoJo to communicate.
In grades K-2 we will be using Class DoJo to start off the year and then we will move into Google Classroom.
All assginged work shall be completed by 4 pm. on the day of the class, unless otherwise noted.

This school year I am teaching Computer Literacy to children in grades K to 7. We will be using Dell computers and learning about various programs in Microsoft Office. We will use the Internet for educational purposes. In addition, the district has purchased a program called learning.com which provides engaging educational videos that will reinforce Computer Literacy knowledge and keyboarding skills.
All students should practice keyboarding at home during the week. Students in grades 3-7 have an account for the program typing.com which will keep track of their keyboarding. Other free web sites:- Typingclub.com

I have extra copies or you can get this booklet and find other free resources at www.bulkorder.ftx.gov .Excellent Parent tips on a variety of topics can be found at The New Jersey Education Association. The site will also translate into Spanish.https://www.njea.org/community/family-involvement/Brainpop.com and brainpopjr.com are web sites that provide educational videos on various topics including technology. Have your child log into Clever to access this program.
