Mr. Sabatino
  • Welcome 6th Grade Students and Parents,

My name is Mr. Sabatino and, along with Ms. Jones, I will be your teacher this year. This is my first year in Orange but my fifth year teaching. I have taught high school ELA in Passaic, middle school math in Newark, and most recently, PreK-8 music in Paterson. I am looking forward to having my own group of students all day for the first time, and know that 6th grade will soon become my favorite class to teach!

A bit about me: I have a Masters Degree in Teaching Music from William Paterson University and am working towards another Masters Degree in Special Education. I went to Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania (any Little League Baseball fans out there?) where I studied both music and special education.

In my free time, I enjoy golf, playing the trombone, watching sports, and playing video games (which I don't think you can ever be too old for). I am looking forward to learning all about each one of you on the first day of school, so come prepared to tell me all about yourselves! Everything you teach me about yourself will be used to help you throughout the school year.

As a quick reminder, please follow all of the school guidelines with regards to school supply lists, proper dress, etc. All school policies will be strictly enforced in my classroom. We are in room 116 this year, which is right next to the main office. Lastly, please keep in mind that this page will be updated as I gain experience and knowledge in my new position. I look forward to meeting you all.
