Welcome to 1st Grade! My name is Sarah Abdallah and I will be your child's teacher this year .  I just moved to New Jersey from Northern Virginia (20 minutes outside of Washington DC).  I have been teaching for 5 years in both Kindergarten and Third grade so I have a unique perspective of where students are coming from and where they need to be going after 1st grade.  

It is my goal is to create a classroom environment that is both inclusive and a safe place for students to take risks , grow and learn .  I look forward to working with you as a partner in your child's education this year !
