Welcome! The 2019-2020 school year begins my seventh year of teaching preschool at the Orange School District. Previously, I was a Pre-K paraprofessional and teacher at the West Orange Community House since 2007. I recieved my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education (K-5). I also received my standard certification to teach Pre-K-3rd grade from Bloomfield College. Becoming a teacher was always a lifelong dream of mine and teaching children brings me joy every day. I am a wife and a mother of four beautiful children. I speak fluent Spanish. I believe all children can and will learn provided they are given a safe environment, reinforcement, and love. I am hopeful that this school year will bring you as well as your children a fun filled learning adventure in which we will work together to provide the best education for your child. I am looking forward for a great school year at Rosa Parks Community School.
Mrs. Bronwynne Stewart is my paraprofessional. She previously worked as a Pre-k paraprofessional at MCDC for six years. The 2019-2020 school year begins my fifth year as a Pre-K paraprofessional at the Orange School District. She received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2011 and is presently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Special Education. She is presently in her Junior year. She is a wife and a mother of two daughters. She believes in fostering the development of the whole child.
