Homework

Homework is given out every night and will be checked for completion each morning. Students will receive a homework grade by the end of the week for completion! 

Students will be given an activity sheet and will have to choose three activities to complete each night using the words below.  Activities should be done in a homework notebook.  Students are expected to read independently each night  for 30 minutes. If you do not have a notebook for your child please let me know and I will provide one! 

There will be words listed on this sheet to complete the activities on your High Frequency and Vocabulary Words chart. 

These are words that will increase the student’s vocabulary.  They appear in the story we are reading in class this week.  Please, help your child repeat and learn these words.  They are expected to use them in their writing task at the end of the week 

Math: Students all have a math workbook where they complete their classwork and homework.  The book will be sent home each night and expected to be brought back the next day so that students can complete their classwork.  

Friday-Saturday: I will give either a science or social studies homework to complete over the weekend.  Students should also continue to work on iRead and iReady!
