Welcome to 7th grade

Hello from Mrs. Theall

My name is Carlotta Theall and this will be my second year working at Park Avenue School as the 7th grade LLD teacher. I have over 25 years experience working with special education students.

I graduated from Caldwell University  and Saint Elizabeth University with honors. I have my B.S. in Elementary Education and psychology as well as my Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification. 

I look forward to working with you to help your child succeed, not only this year, but for the rest of his/her life.

About 7th Grade

Seventh grade is an awesome and exciting year. However, seventh grade will also be a challenging year. Your child will be introduced to new math concepts, hands on science activities, independent reading, and more detailed language and grammar skills.

I believe the seventh grade is a year of growing independence. I will make a sincere effort to make sure that each child learns and has fun while doing it.

Students will be assigned homework daily. If your student ever struggles with the homework, please let me know. I will set time aside to work with them one on one.Also,please feel free to contact me throughout the year with any other questions or concerns.
