DAMAGED DEVICE REPAIR/REPLACEMENT POLICY 

The contracts parents signed when issued a district device indicated that they are responsible to pay for damaged Chromebooks or Acers if the damage is beyond normal wear and tear. The replacement cost is $339.79 per Chromebook and $425.00 for Acers. Parents will receive a receipt upon paying with a money order. You will receive more details about the money order. If the device is not working because it has malfunctioned but has not otherwise been damaged, it may be exchanged. A review by the Technology Coordinator will warrant this conclusion. Further, if the device is less than two years old and is not working, it is covered under warranty, and the Technology Coordinators will address Promevo for replacement.
