New Jersey is one of 18 governing states in PARCC that are closely involved with the development of the assessments. Educators from K-12 and higher education are involved in the development of the assessments to ensure alignment to PARCC’s vision. These new K-12 assessments will mark students’ progress and provide teachers with timely information to inform instruction and provide student support. The PARCC assessments will be ready for states to administer during the 2014-15 school year.
