    Literacy: Listen to the FINAL reading of Mr. Popper’s Penguins - Chapter 20 on my YouTube Channel. Mr. Popper had to make a difficult decision about the penguins. What decision did he make? Write your response in Class Dojo Portfolios or Dojo Messaging! Try and complete some iRead today, too!  

    Math: We finished Topic C! Show what you have learned about partitioning shapes by completing the Topic C Quiz!

    Tuesday, June 2nd 

    Literacy: Mr. Popper’s Penguins Culminating Task - Today we begin our culminating task! Let’s work on an opening sentence and some text evidence as we begin today. How did Mr. Popper use his knowledge and experiences to help him respond to situations and challenges in his life? 

    Math: Today, we construct a paper clock by partitioning a circle into halves and quarters to tell time to the half hour or quarter hour. Be sure to watch Lesson 13 video and complete Lesson 13 Problem Set / Exit Ticket → Lesson 13 File. This BrainPopJr Video will be a great help to this lesson! Time to the Quarter and Half Hour. Take a picture of your work and send it to me on Class Dojo! Try & complete at least 10 minutes of iReady, too! 

    Science: Log into your Foss Web Account (username: werbler password: science 2) Click on Media Library - Streaming Videos and watch All About Water Ecosystems. After go on Class Portfolios and answer: What do animals need to live in a water environment?  


    Wednesday, June 3rd 

    Literacy: Mr. Popper’s Penguins Culminating Task - Today we continue our culminating task! Let’s work on more text evidence and a closing. How did Mr. Popper use his knowledge and experiences to help him respond to situations and challenges in his life? 

    Math: Today, we tell time to the nearest five minutes. Be sure to watch Lesson 14 video and complete Lesson 14 Problem Set / Exit Ticket → Lesson 14 File. Take a picture of your work and send it to me on Class Dojo! Try & complete at least 10 minutes of iReady, too! 

    Social Studies: Log into Pearson and complete “Quest Connection: Culture in Music”. 


    Thursday, June 4th 

    Literacy: Today is our final day to look over our Culminating Task for Mr. Popper’s Penguins! Look over the feedback I have given and make any changes necessary. After log on iRead and try to move up a level! 

    Math: Today, we tell time to the nearest five minutes and relate a.m. and p.m. to the time of day. Be sure to watch Lesson 15 video and complete Lesson 15 Problem Set / Exit Ticket → Lesson 15 File. Take a picture of your work and send it to me on Class Dojo! Try & complete at least 10 minutes of iReady, too! 

    Science: Log into your Foss Web Account (username: werbler password: science 2) Click on Online Activities - Habitat Gallery and explore! After take a picture of your favorite habitat for credit in science!


    Friday, June 5th 

    Literacy: Today we begin our new book, Knots on A Counting Rope. Listen to the story and then go into Class Dojo Portfolios and answer the question: How do you know the boy has heard the story before? 

    Math: Today, we solve elapsed time problems involving whole hours and a half hour. Be sure to watch Lesson 16 video and complete Lesson 16 Problem Set / Exit Ticket → Lesson 16 File. Take a picture of your work and send it to me on Class Dojo! Try & complete at least 10 minutes of iReady, too!
