    Literacy: Watch our new book if you need to review it! Butterfly is Patient. Then answer this question using text evidence: How is a butterfly helpful? Remember to submit your work by typing your answer or taking a picture and sending it through Class Dojo!     Science:  Log in to FOSS using the link above, (username: werbler password: science2) Click on Solids and Liquids and go to Streaming Videos. Play a video of your choosing. When you are finished, write or type into Class Dojo three new facts you learned from the video you watched and send it to me!

    Science: Let's use liquids to talk about germs! Ask an adult to put some water on a paper plate and sprinkle some pepper into the water. Let's pretend the pepper grains are germs. Take one finger and touch the water. Did the germs (pepper) get on your finger? Now ask an adult to place some soap on another plate and move your finger around the soap. Now place your soap covered finger back on the plate with the germs (pepper) What happened?! See why it is so important to wash our hands?! Write down your findings or type your answer into Dojo and send it to me!

    Today is a GYM day! Please be sure to check out Ms. McKenna's school page to see your assignment! 

    Literacy: Watch our new book! Butterfly is Patient. We will be reading this book to find out about a butterfly's characteristics and why they are important! Then answer the question, Is this book fiction or nonfiction? How do you know? Take a picture of your response or type it and send it to me on Class Dojo. Complete at least 10 minutes of iRead/Reading Plus.     Science: Ask a parent/guardian at home to help with this experiment! Take a glass and fill it with some water. Then pour that same water into different sized containers. What do you notice? Does the water look the same? Does it look like there is more or less? Write your findings on a paper or type it into Class Dojo and send it to me!
