Degrees and Certifications:
Hi! My name is Holly Miller and I am a 5th Grade Math teacher here at Rosa Parks Community School. This is my first year teaching here at Rosa Parks and my third year teaching 5th grade!! It is my first year teaching JUST math and I am so excited! I truly believe that every child has the ability to reach their highest potential and I am here to guide them on that path. In my classroom students will learn mathematics in a very hands on setting. I believe that students becoming active in their learning process helps them to become life long learners. In addition to learning mathematics I expect kids to be respectful and kind to one another and this is something we will work towards everyday. As Ellen DeGeneres always says, "Be kind to one another". That is a quote we will live by in this classroom. I hope to get to know each and every one of my students parents and guardians so we can work together in helping our students reach their highest potential.
I received my Bachelors Degree from Temple University in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in Math and Language Arts.
